Geocache: Mt Sugarloaf
by Peter on Mar.08, 2010, under Stuff, Trips
I took Megan to the top of Mt Sugarloaf for an introduction to geocaching and after a while eventually found the tiny cache. The cache was so small we needed to bring our own pen to sign the logbook but it was worth the trek up twice as the view is pretty awesome and I got some cool photos.
Geocache: Balls and All

This epic cache started last week with Ben, Noor, Ross and I being locked out of AMF at 10pm. Rather than going home I fired up my new HTC Touch Pro with this nifty Geocaching App and we started off with a nearby cache, after that relatively quick find we thought we’d try a multi cache. We managed to get all 4 waypoints but stuffed up with the last one and after crossing the river twice we gave up.
Today, armed with more time, sunshine and a footy we headed out in search of the satisfaction of finding this metal container full of goodness. Below are some pics of the final find.

Whilst using the geocache app on my new HTC Touch Pro we bush bashed our way along the top of a cliff. We did get a bit lost, walking in a massive U shape but eventually found the cache after descending about 30m and crawling into caves and under rocks.
